'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming

Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is at the moment midway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the first major honor of his distinguished career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he once was, and would certainly consider extending his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
